Are the Stars on the Homes and Barns of Kentucky, Masonic Symbols?

There are a variety of answers to what these stars signify but the one I liked best was when my cousin said she thought they were the symbol for Texas, the Lone Star of Texas. But in Kentucky and in several other states as well? That five-pointed star is the Texas state emblem and also has a connection to the secret society group known as the Masons.

  1. hi… oddly, i’ve come across this same experience while recently visiting Lexington area and further south in Kentucky. Stars adorn barns and homes. I asked about these, and was given the reply “just decoration”. curious eh?
