I did a lot of reading and research lately because I wanted to write a mystery-suspense series about an American who discovered his father was a Nazi. One of the things I read that surprised me was that many Germans were beginning to see Adolph Hitler as the “Great Doctor.” Are you kidding me? Where in the world did they come up with that one? He was no physician. What… did they think that his idea to enslave and eliminate millions of people would heal their country? The man was a fool and had a fool (or an enemy) for a doctor. Hitler’s doctor was giving him a concoction of belladonna laced with strychnine, one of the reasons he was obviously losing his mind.
